A Day Off

[Elizabeth]

It was a day like any other. Elizabeth happily closed the door to the Velvet Room, stepping into the fluorescent lights of Paulownia Mall. She clutched her coin purse, staring around curiously, a bit smile on her face. It was finally that time of day again, when Lizzie could wander out into the human world and explore all that she had left unexplored the day before.

Each store held something new and exciting. And so Elizabeth ducked into the nearest cafe, admiring the tables and waitresses. She seated herself, staring around in awe. It was gorgeous! Lizzie scanned the menu, eyes wide with fascination. "Coffee... tea... I see~ How interesting!" she mused, flipping the laminated paper and reading each item's name.

A waitress wandered to her table, requesting her order. Elizabeth pondered for a moment before ordering one of every beverage. The woman stared at her in disbelief before scurrying off to retrieve all the drinks Lizzie requested. The attendant grinned, leaning back in her chair. The world sure was strange. As the drinks were brought to her table numerous people stared. Elizabeth’s eyes wandered into each cup, the array of colors splendid. “MY~! How interesting!! So beautiful~ And plentiful~” she commented with a smile. Reaching forward curiously, Elizabeth picked a drink at random. She put it to her lips, sipping the hot coffee. The girl yelped, setting down the cup quickly, “Hot!” she mumbled as she bit her lip, the burning sensation causing her tongue to go numb. Today was definitely off to an interesting start.

"Awww...Man I'm so bored",sigh Ryoji who was like any other teens who hangs out frequently at the mall.He was just out from Game Panic a place he would normally playing variety of arcade games with his friends Minato and Junpei.But today was not and ordinary day for him,as he does not hang out with any of his friends.

He stroll toward the fountain and reach out for his wallet.He takes out some coins and flips them into the fountain and wished "I want to meet a new girl today!" in his head.The blue-eyed teen quickly turn around and moans"Like this would come true!!"

Everyone stared at him.Ryoji,now feeling ashamed quickly walks aimlessly around the mall,to not aroused attention of the people.He then figured to go Chagall Cafe knowing that Minato is always drinking coffee there.He enters and peered into the cafe and no target at sight."If only Minato is here.." he sigh.“MY~! How interesting!! So beautiful~ And plentiful~” he hears.
"Humm?" he wonders who said that.
“Hot!” again the same voice he hears.
Finally he found the source of the voice.It was a girl,dressing strangely which arouses his curiousity. He boldly walking towards the girl and said "Are you okay miss?".In his head,today is surely not one of his usual day.

Elizabeth glanced over her shoulder, her gaze traveling up to the young boy's face. "My~ I'm quite alright... just a bit of a curious sting." she made note of the feeling, nibbling at the sensitive tip of her tongue, "May I be of assistance, sir?" The Velvet Room Attendant stared back at her array of cups, gesturing to a seat, "Would you like to accompany me? I couldn't possibly partake of all these beverages."

The girl was interesting enough, but the fact that she had ordered what seemed like the whole menu was even more intriguing. She crossed her legs, smoothing her dress, sipping another. Cold! Elizabeth covered her mouth, giggling, "How smooth and cool~! What an interesting texture..." she seemd to have forgotten Ryoji was standing here, her focus on the various drinks.
