"A-Anyway, the city is a great place!" He waved one of his hand. Yosuke and Adachi had become great friends in only a short amount of time. Which Yosuke was very happy about, because he isn't really the one to make friends.
From their walk, they visited many places while passing by. For some reason, their walk ended here at the flood plain. Yosuke had been walking all day, so he decided that the two of them stop and rest for a bit, for the sake of their aching feet. "I always loved it here...Seems like a place where it's always so..calm..." He closed his eyes for a few seconds before looking back up. This was usually the place where he used to sit, just to escape from his own thoughts. The ripples in the water always seemed so soothing. It was just something, something about this flood plain that always made him feel, serene.
"Oh...A-And about who I like...I-I think I'm ready to tell you now.." He smiled and tilted his head forward just a bit.

"I believe you! Don't worry! Heh..." He sat down next to Yosuke, glad to give his tired feet a rest. He was sure they were slightly blistered by now and perhaps a bit bruised. But the small trek was worth it; the small conversations were sweet and something the detective needed for a while now. He didn't regret it. He'd do it again in a heartbeat. He'd wear better shoes though...
He turned to look at his friend and smiled. "Is that so? Then I'm ready too; all ears for you Yosuke-kun."

"Yeah I thought you would." He flashed a smile to Adachi and started rubbing his own feet. "I haven't walked that much for a while now. But, I thought that was fun...Thanks again." Yosuke smiled. Yosuke was glad that he did that actually, it made him happy. Adachi seemed like a caring person, or at least that's what Yosuke thought about him. "Maybe we can hang out some more like this, what do you think?" He asked. Yosuke pushed his body backwards so he was gently lying down on the moist grass.
" O-Okay well...The person i--" He cut himself off. His eyes looked up and he saw none other than, Soji Seta. No doubt it was him. Yosuke's body sprang back up, and he shifted his positioning to Soji. "Hey Soji!" He waved his arm.

The inn had been extremely busy as of late. Before, it was just businessmen and women, who were going there to take a break from their hectic schedules. Ever since the murders started to happen, however, there had been swarms of cameramen and people asking if she knew why the people had been targeted, as if she was supposed to have some special insight being an innkeeper's daughter and all. This was probably why she was so thankful to have the staff there to help her out when she was certain a brain-explosion was imminent.
This was how she was able to sneak out to the flood plain while the staff said they could handle whatever was going on. This was how she managed to relax next to the river, feet underwater and wishing she could just leave the entire inn behind. Too bad Chie was somewhere else. Maybe she should have called her to ask if she wanted to talk or something...
"...Oh great, I forgot to bring a towel," She mumbled, rubbing her forehead at her own stupidity. "Hope they can hold out without me for a little longer."

Adachi crossed his legs and sat Indian style, resting his head on his open palms his hands. He peered over yonder to the clear and calm waters, watching a small dragonfly gently glided through the air and teased the waters with small kisses from it's feet. It was cute until a amber seema jumped from the concealment of the water below and ate the peaceful insect in one gulp. Then Adachi got a little depressed. Life was short. He looked away. "Y-Yeah.." He replied quietly, to the question asked. "Let's do that... a-as soon as possible..."
The detective turned his head to look for Soji but found something else instead. A black-haired who looked like she was enjoying herself, at least, that's what it seemed to Adachi. Happily, he removed his head from his hands and called over to the young lady, "Amagi-san! Hey!"

"Ah, hello there, Adachi-san. Hi, Yosuke-kun. I didn't notice either of you guys there," She said cheerfully, waving while she kept the bottom of her kimono from getting wet. Perhaps she just wasn't very watchful that day. Then she remembered something to ask, "Do either of you have a small towel I could use? I can't put my socks back on if my feet are still wet."
Not that it was very likely either of them had a towel, but if she was lucky, one of them would be willing to sacrifice a handkerchief.

"Ah, Yukiko-chan, I didn't see you there. A towel you say...?" Yosuke checked his pockets. Luckily he found a few unused napkins that he guessed were from his earlier trip to Junes. "Will napkins help? Sorry, but that's all I have." He laughed and held out his hands with the napkins in his hand. "Woah, I'm surprised that Chie isn't here with you...Where is she anyway?" Yosuke tapped his head in wonder. Chie and Yukiko usually go everywhere together, and do everything together. He hoped nothing bad happened.
Yosuke turned his attention back to Soji, which for a few, forgot was there. "Maybe he didn't hear me?" He thought to himself. It seemed that Soji's focus was on fishing, perhaps that was the reason he didn't hear Yosuke's call. He shouted once more, "Soji!!"

"I'll see you later Nanako," Soji called as he shut the door to his uncle's house. He didn't need to remind Nanako to lock the door or not to open it for strangers; she was a smart, responsible girl. In a way, Soji wanted to bring Nanako along on his little fishing trip, but he didn't want to disturb her while she was watching her show.
It took Soji about ten minutes from home to get to the flood plain. It was a great day out, so he hoped that there would be some large fish to be caught. However, his plan was interrupted by a call of his name from a certain headphones-wearing teenager. He knew that voice anywhere; it had to be Yosuke's. He glanced around for the teenager and saw him sitting up on the grass, waving frantically. Aside from Yosuke he also spotted the lazy detective sitting next to him, but what was that all about? He waved back and started walking towards the two.

Yosuke patted the floor, gesturing for Soji to sit down beside them. Yosuke's eyes filled with excitement when he saw Soji walk over to them.
Yosuke turned his head to Yukiko and spoke, "Anyway, what brings you here?" It wasn't normal seeing Yukiko anywhere away from The Amagi Inn on the weekend. He wondered if anyone else was open today, maybe everyone would be able to hang out sometime, and with Adachi as well. Yosuke didn't really think at first that Adachi would be the type of person who would hang out with teenagers, but Yosuke was glad that he was. Or else, he wouldn't know what he'd be doing at this moment.

"I couldn't call up Chie and ask her to meet me, since I'm still working. Thanks for the napkins, by the way," She said, walking out of the water and wiping the water off of her feet. Once she had dried them sufficiently, she discovered she had a small wad of them, and she frowned, "I guess I'll throw this away once I get back. I was feeling tired, and one of the assistants said I could run off for a short break as long as I went by Shiroku. I should probably get my socks and sandals back on..."
With that, she looked around for the white socks she had been wearing, but they seemed to have disappeared while she was lounging. Maybe she'd dropped them off somewhere more inland, she decided. Avoiding the rocks, she stepped around to look for them.
Maybe that cat family took them to play with somewhere...

"Oh, working eh...Oh, and no problem! I'm not sure if I'm supposed to be working today or not..." Yosuke shrugged it off, he didn't want to think anything about Junes. "Oh, how long do you think you're going to stay? I think they can run the inn just fine without you for a little while." Yosuke smiled. Yosuke studied the look on Yukiko's face for a few seconds, "Anything wrong?" The look on Yukiko's face, made Yosuke curious...

Adachi yawned; he was barely listening to the chatter between Yukiko and Yosuke. It was incredibly rude, he knew, but he was lazy in nature and just wanted to rest now. Uncrossing his legs, he laid down on the soft grass and closed his eyes. Just a small nap, his new friend wouldn't mind right? And if he asked him about it, he could just say he was thinking really really really really hard about the recent murders. Heh, right.
So with a slight tilt of his head, he dozed off to a the careful bed of the half-conscious, only vaguely aware of his surroundings. Just in case.

"I can't seem to find my socks and sandals for the inn. I know I put them around here somewhere," She said, trailing off. Yukiko thought about her friend's question for a short time, wondering if she could possibly get away with staying away from it for a bit longer. But asking the workers to stay would be rude of her, and she should have been dealing with guests anyways. It was what her parents asked of her, anyways.
Cordially smiling at Yosuke, she shook her head, telling him, "No, I should probably go. If you could help me again, though, it'd be really helpful."

"Want me to help you look for them?" Yosuke picked himself off of the moist ground. He turned his head in different directions, trying to pin-point a location for him to start looking for the lost socks. He waltzed over near the edge, looking into the water. "M-Maybe they fell in here somehow...and drifted off?" He scratched his head. He walked back over to Yukiko, "Do you remember where you had them last?" He tilted his head.
He turned back his attention to the detective, who seemed to be fast asleep on the ground. "Ha, he must've been tired from walking, I don't blame him for falling asleep." He smiled. Should He wake Adachi up? Or let him have his rest...? He thought it would've been rude to wake him up during his little nap, so he just let him be and continued looking for the missing socks.
